Africa Inland Mission in Australia is a partner in the new Australian Centre for Mission Aviation (ACMA) in Victoria.

ACMA has grown from the Victorian Bible College school of mission aviation.

ACMA is being established as an independent company with an independent board. Board members include representatives of co-operating agencies. Partner agencies include MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship), JAARS (aviation arm of Wycliffe Bible Translators) and the Bible College of Victoria, and AIM Australia.

The new centre is focused on training for mission aviation, including flight training and aircraft engineering.

ACMA CEO, Dr Bruce Searle said ACMA exists to impact people with the Gospel by means of aviation.

There is an open day at the ACMA, near Lilydale on 5 September 2009. Phone (03) 9739 0612 or see www.missionaviationtraining.com.au for details.
