Teacher Team
Where: Windhoek, Namibia
When: July/August
Length: Six weeks
Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, is one of Africa's most picturesque cities. But step beyond the manicured lawns and you'll find some serious poverty. This is a challenging assignment for up to six teachers/teachers-in-training.
You will be involved in two ministries:
i) Afternoons will be spent at the Evangelical Bible Church’s after school program, tutoring kids in school while teaching Bible lessons, arts and sports.
ii) Two to three mornings a week will be spent with the Family Hope Sanctuary. This is a community project for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). You will work with children, but more importantly with the adult volunteers, helping them be better teachers and care givers.

In your travels you will encounter many tribal groups.
