Ignite assignments vary widely, yet the vision is always the same: working to build Christ-centred churches across the African continent. Many of our assignments revolve around discipleship: one of the most important ways our missionaries can make a big impact in a short amount of time.

Every effort is made to match your gifts and abilities to an assignment that suits you. Opportunities include individual and team placements, as well as medical missions.

Who we’re looking for…

Our missionaries are flexible and enthusiastic about discipleship. If you’re 19 or older and want to be God’s hands and feet in Africa, AIM's Ignite program may be for you.

Short-term mission opportunities abound in Africa, whether it’s teaching, construction, medical ministry or community development us know your skill set and interests and we’ll search for a fitting assignment.

Internships

Some college and university programs (i.e. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) have the option of completing an overseas internship for course creditOnce aware of your internship requirements, we will seek an appropriate placement.
