As Rebels moved out of Chad under threats from the French government, thousands of refugees filtered through Cameroon's porous border.
It is reported that 20,000 Chadians have left Chad since Saturday.
"We had confirmation that our members who were evacuated out of Ndjamena to Libreville [Gabon] safely arrived in Paris and were headed to other destinations of their choice," wrote Central Region Director Steve Wolcott. "Peter Maclure has remained at the military base in Ndjamena."
Wolcott writes that with Chad in disarray, it is also necessary to evacuate the TIMO team serving in Chad. The plan is to arrange for a French helicopter to fly them out of the country.
"From all indications, it doesn not appear that they are in any immediate danger," he writes, but "we have not had direct contact with [them].
"Pray with us that we will have contact so information can be received and passed onto the team.
"Pray too for wisdom in knowing how best to care for the needs of the Chadian couple who are part of the TIMO team...Understanding and wisdom is needed."
