N’djamena, CHAD

Peter Maclure, Chad unit leader, has stayed behind in N’djamena at the French Army base to help coordinate evacuation efforts for AIM and other mission agencies.

“There are so many answers to prayer that I hardly know when to begin,” he writes. “Many times miracles occurred and we were able to be in the right place at the right time giving a helping hand.”

Yesterday the French army allowed expats to return to their homes in N'djamena while warning that the situation was uncertain and unpredictable.

“To out great surprise – [the AIM] house was completely untouched and everything was in place,” writes Peter. “An even greater miracle is that our guest house which is in the badly hit area of Bololo and had no guards was completely untouched...no damage to property, buildings or cars.”

Peter and Sally Maclure do ask for prayer, however; their car is unaccounted for, and in the scramble to leave N’djamena, Sally lost a computer and some important documents.

Continue to pray for the TIMO team in Dourbali; it has been hard for them to leave their location. They are believed to be fine, however communication has proven difficult.

Pray for Cheryl Propst, daughter of John and Pam Propst, who was one of 51 students sent to the hospital after a Tornado touched down at Union University in Tennessee.  She was recently moved out of the intensive care unit and is being carefully monitored.
