Monitored by Canadian doctor and nurse couple Dan and Dita Poenaru, this project is  providing food for needy children in a desolate hillside community in
Naivasha, Kenya.

Poor soil conditons, combined with little rain and an absence of wells have resulted in an extremely poor community with minimal resources. We are working through a local church (AIC Eburu and AIC Ndabibi) and the
“Over the past five years this program has seen malnutrition in local children virtually disappear,” says Dr. Poenaru.community to regularly purchase basic foods (corn, beans, flour, sugar). This food is then distributed to all families within the local church community.

It has also increased the stature and importance of the newly planted church.
