Judith Dunn is our Mobiliser for Ireland.

Judith Dunn is our Mobiliser for Ireland. Judith has been involved with Aim since 2001 when she went to Uganda as part of a summer team. She has since worked in Lesotho for 15 months from 2002 and then she returned to in 2005 as leader of a Synergy team. More recently she has been our Irish Youth Worker.  Judith spent four years at Belfast Bible College where she completed a Bachelor’s and later a Master’s degree in Theology. Judith’s love of Africa, involvement in Aim and work among young people in Northern Ireland has led to this role as Mobiliser for Ireland where she seeks to enthuse, mobilise and equip people for mission.

In her role as Mobiliser for Ireland, Judith is involved in:

  • Personal deputation, organising events and giving advice to churches, groups and individuals interested in mission.
  • Being involved with mission education and taking opportunities to represent Aim in Bible Colleges.
  • Supporting Aim’s Personnel Department in the screening and selection of applicants from Ireland.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in missiological thinking and reading on related subjects.

As with those who go overseas Judith is dependent on both the prayer and finance support of God’s people. This has been demonstrated to produce a strong partnership between prayerful givers and those they support.

Some things don’t change

In times of change there are some important things that don’t change. One of these is prayer. Missionaries ‘in the field’ have always depended on the prayer support from individuals as well as prayer groups. We in Aim, would love to have each of our supporters involved with a prayer group. No Condition is Permanent

The heading above was a slogan I once saw painted on a truck in the north of Nigeria. Maybe not always true, but certainly often and one example of this is the recently announced departure of our UK Director, John Brand. Download the whole newsletter.
