Our Office Administrator is:
Rosemary
Born in Londonderry I joined AIM in 1985 and worked in Nairobi with AIM’s International Services. During that time I met Bill and we were married in 1988. I left Nairobi to live in the beautiful Kerio Valley in the north of Kenya where Bill had established a church based development project. In 2000 we returned to live in London and then in 2003 moved to Nottingham with the office relocation. We have two sons Andrew and Paul . We attend Cornerstone Evangelical church, lead one of the house groups and are also involved with the international students. When I’m not working as an administrator in the office my interests include walking in Derbyshire, gym, reading, and de-cluttering.
My main role is to make sure the administrative activities within the Aim office run smoothly. I'm the first port of call for incoming telephone calls and for visitors, I arrange the daily post and prayers rotas, and I make sure that we do not run out of vital supplies, such as stationery, milk, and biscuits. I act as the office safety officer, which involves, among other tasks, making the rest of the office staff stick their fingers in their ears on a weekly basis when I test the fire alarms.
I also organise teams of volunteers who help us with the sending out of our magazines and prayer letters. |
