He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV) This is unfortunately my last PWA editorial as I am leaving AIM at the start of December. My wife, Judith, and I are moving back to the ‘Motherland’ (Northern Ireland for those who don’t know), along with our daughter Evie. Looking back over my time in AIM, I have been amazed by your constant prayer support for the Kingdom work it is involved and your unfailing dedication to it throughout the year. Likewise, being at the receiving end of so many great stories from the field, it is clear to see that God’s promises are true and He answers prayer. Recently, during one of our office prayer times the above verse was given to me as a source of comfort and guidance at this time of transition, and I was very grateful for it. However, it later struck me how crucial that same verse is to every aspect of AIM – whether to home staff in the UK and Europe or to those ministering in the most hostile of places – God goes before us everywhere. He is with us every step of the way so we can walk with boldness while holding to that eternal truth. What a message to end the year with. Throughout 2011 the Lord went before you, regardless of where you were and what you did, and, do you know what? Next year will be no different. Praise Him,
