There are currently two opportunities available to serve with our Mobilising team. MEDIA INTERN OPPORTUNITY - NOTTINGHAMMedia and Communications experience with an international Christian Mission and a commercial PR agency This is an opportunity for a Christian graduate to obtain valuable work experience in media work through a combined internship. It is envisaged that the internship will last for broadly an academic year. Three days per week will be with Aim International, an evangelical Christian mission agency serving across Africa, and the other two days per week will be spent with Integra Communications a growing commercial PR agency. Both organisations are based in central Nottingham. Excellent writing skills are vital as the intern will be serving Aim International by writing for the web, various print publications and Aim resources. Similarly Integra Communications will be looking for someone who can write quickly and well and combines these attributes with a good telephone manner and a personable disposition. The internship could suit someone who has a degree in Public Relations, journalism or similar and is looking to gain work experience in these fields as the first step in their career. The internship is an unpaid position, but travel expenses are provided.
Within the terms of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003, it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the successful candidate agrees with and signs Aim International’s Statement of Faith. AREA MOBILISER FOR IRELANDHAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES to help us see Christ-centred Churches amongst all Africa’s peoples? Aim International is looking for an Area Mobiliser to join its European Mobilising Team. This is a vital role with representational, pastoral and spiritual dimensions. The successful candidate will be responsible for making the work of Aim International known in Ireland, supporting and advising applicants and the pastoral care of serving missionaries.
