Missions begins with prayer. Each month, dedicated, world-focused Christians gather to pray for the ministry of Africa Inland Mission and the building of God’s kingdom among the peoples of Africa.

Short Term Teams
If your church is planning, or would like to plan, a short-term team to Africa, we’re here to help. AIM can provide assistance in making the trip meaningful and effective for all involved. Our Church Relations and Short Term departments will work with you as you move forward in this exciting, and often, life-changing venture. 

Adopt-a-People: Strategic and Focused Prayer for the Unreached
Incredible things happen when we pray. AIM’s Adopt-a-People program gives your church, small group, or family the opportunity to be involved in a significant way in bringing the Gospel to the unreached of Africa. AIM will provide you with resources and periodic updates to help you learn more about your adopted people group so you can pray more specifically.

Some churches arrange survey teams to visit the people group they pray for, or arrange to visit missionaries who work among them. Adopting churches often assist with the financial support of missionaries working among their adopted people group. And as their love and understanding of the people group grows, men and women from within the adopting church sometimes choose to go and be a part of bringing the Good News to them. God has used the Adopt-a-People program to bring many to a saving knowledge of Himself. And it all begins with prayer.
