John and Pam Wollman Print E-mail
Friday, 23 May 2008

John and Pam Wollman appreciate our prayers as they work in the AIM US office in Pearl River, NY.  John has been upgrading the software that the Candidate Department and Regional Administrators use to keep in contact with those who show an interest in serving with AIM.  Pray for John to work all the “bugs” out of the system and provide adequate training and support for the staff.  Pam serves in the receipting department, and would appreciate our prayers as she processes hundreds of donations each week.  Pray that she would work with diligence and accuracy.  Pray that the Wollmans would be encouraged as they “serve those who serve.”

David Duncan Print E-mail
Thursday, 22 May 2008

David Duncan, Media Director for AIM Europe, works on media and publications for AIM’s European office in Nottingham, England.  Pray that David would be able to adequately describe through print and media the work of AIM in order to obtain prayer support and mobilize new missionaries interested in reaching Africa with the gospel.  Pray as well for good time management in order to meet deadlines on projects.

Ryan Dahlman Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 May 2008

Appointee Ryan Dahlman is looking forward to serving full time at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) teaching in the upper elementary school.  Pray for Ryan as he builds his support network in order to depart for Kenya in July.  He would appreciate our prayers as he brings closure to things here in the US, packs his belongings, and prepares to serve God in Africa by educating missionary children.

Leah Hopp Print E-mail
Tuesday, 20 May 2008

Please pray today for Leah Hopp, who joined the AIM Canada staff in Toronto as the Personnel Assistant last fall.  She is thankful for God’s provision of a support team for her new ministry.  Pray for Leah as she develops relationships with staff and candidates and seeks to guide new missionaries through the application process.

Josh Hooker Print E-mail
Monday, 19 May 2008

Having transferred from Lesotho to Namibia, Josh Hooker, Academic Dean of NETS (theological college) has a heavy workload, but is happy that the college will be reaching the northern region of the country through a new campus there.  Pray for Josh and the rest of the NETS staff to be good examples of Christian unity in the midst of ethnic and denominational tensions in Namibia.  Pray for his wife Cathy as she balances mentoring students and hospitality responsibilities with her roles as missionary wife and mom.

Jinx and Dawn Reyneke Print E-mail
Saturday, 17 May 2008

Jinx and Dawn Reyneke are praising the Lord that they can now connect with supporters via e-mail right from their home in Espungabera, Mozambique.  The last week of each month they have a Bible school training time, and are praying to be able to start an eight week training course for young people in their 20s.  Please pray for the women in the area who have been using the Reyneke’s garden to start a bean project which they are hoping will provide enough money to enable them to attend a church ladies conference.

Christa Buse Print E-mail
Friday, 16 May 2008

From Antsirabe, Madagascar, Christa Buse shares that the Theological Education by Extension (TEE) program is growing, but not without opposition.  An acting leader of one of the denominations that Christa works with is outspoken in his resistance to her work.  Pray for softening of hearts and that godly humility and cooperation would prevail.  Ask God to strengthen Christa for her task and help her to be an ambassador of God’s love and reconciliation.
