Julia (Cornish) Trotter is the Director of Relief and Development for AIM Canada.  She is praising the Lord for her marriage to Chris Trotter in January.  Pray for Julia and Chris as they start their married life together.  Pray for her as she seeks God’s will and direction as to which projects AIM Canada should be involved in. Theological Education Print E-mail
Monday, 21 April 2008

The development of godly national leadership in Africa is critical.  One of AIM’s priorities is to prepare Christ-like leaders within the African church.  Pray for all of our missionaries who are working in the area of theological education.  Ask God to help them model what it means to be a servant leader in a culture different from their own.

Murray and Diana Schmidt are Short Term Coordinators for the Eastern Region.  They are asking God for wisdom as they continue to shape this program.  Pray for godly focus as they deal with people from many different countries seeking to participate in a wide variety of ministries.  Pray that the Schmidts would be able to match each short term missionary with the ministry God has for them.

Andrea Clinard Print E-mail
Monday, 07 April 2008

Andrea Clinard is serving as part of the Lopit TIMO team in South Sudan.   She enjoyed her month out in Nairobi serving with the On Field Media Team, and asks prayer for wisdom in deciding what God would have her do after her two year TIMO assignment ends this year.  Please pray for complete healing of her shoulder which was damaged in a recent bike accident.  She writes, “I’ve learned that you don’t just choose to be a missionary once. Sometimes, you have to decide. You’re here, you’re doing this, you’re committed.”

Annemarie Boks Print E-mail
Saturday, 05 April 2008

Annemarie Boks is developing an AIDS ministry in partnership with the CECA 20 church in Democratic Repubic of Congo (DRC).  She enjoyed teaching about AIDS in recent church conferences and hopes to be able to organize more “Choosing Hope” seminars in the future.  She is busy now writing a syllabus about how to counsel people living with AIDS.  She asks prayer for a few logistical details:  establishing a reliable internet connection and the finances needed in order to purchase a vehicle for the ministry.  Let’s join Annemarie in prayer as she reaches out to those suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Ann Fursdon Print E-mail
Friday, 04 April 2008

Please pray today for Dr. Ann Fursdon as she coordinates the thirty-seven health centers of the Evangelical Church of Chad.  Dr. Fursdon has moved from Bebalem to Kelo.  Her new location will provide her with better access to the clinics.  Pray for the logistics of remodeling an office, and for the delivery of the new vehicle which she needs urgently for her work. Pray also for AIM’s overall ministry in Chad, as a recent attempted coup necessitated the evacuation of some AIM personnel. Pray that the door for ministry in Chad will remain open.
