AIM’s South Africa Director, Abie Joseph, and Frances, his wife, give praise for growth changes that have taken place in the SA sending unit during the past several years. While continuing their primary concern of giving pastoral care and spiritual oversight to SA missionaries serving in AIM’s countries in Africa, they have also witnessed positive results from restructuring the SA sending unit for greater effectiveness and service. Keep praying for them, and also for new council members who have a passion for mission and expertise in finances, information technology, and legal matters. |

AIM Brazil requests prayer that Brazilian churches will develop a strong missionary vision, and that God will raise up missionaries from other South American countries. |

AIM Canada is giving thanks for fruitful field visits in recent months by Media Coordinator Tim Brown to Sudan and Director John Brown with a board member and his close friend to Kenya and Tanzania. These visits were meant to encourage missionaries and church leaders and to gain new information on key relief and development projects. Pray that as information is shared in publications, on the web, and personally, individuals will be stimulated to pray and become involved. |

Deb Ort rejoices that she is no longer a “missionary between assignments,” but is enjoying a new assignment at Rift Valley Academy (Kijabe, Kenya), teaching home economics and overseeing student travel. Pray for good adjustment, for quickness in learning new responsibilities, and for continuing joy in her contacts with students, staff, and others in the community at Kijabe. |
