PRAYER REQUESTS
(submitted by Gloria Smethers)

1) Please pray for continued staffing at the clinic at Kalacha. When I left in April a nurse volunteer was able to continue working there for a few months until September. She is willing to consider returning in January for a while. In the meantime, the clinic is open with a very limited amount of care that can be given. Ware Dabella has been working with me at the clinic for some years so knows some treatments. She can give painkiller tablets, hygiene and skin treatment care along with malaria medication. Pray for Ware as she is there daily and able to help out this way.

2) Please continue to pray for Ware Dabella as she is also teaching the Junior school group at church each Sunday. She loves doing it, is dependable and loves the Lord. Pray that spiritual growth will result in Ware's personal life. Pray that as she prepares the lessons each week for the children Ware's faith will be strengthened and increased as result.

3) Pray for the on-going ministry to the children who come to Junior church each Sunday. Some weeks there are more children than others. At times not many boys attend. Pray that as the children hear the stories from the Bible that they will be challenged and touched with the Lord's provision of salvation for them - each one of them - personally.

4) Continue to pray for Barako Boru who is finishing up secondary school (high school) in November. Kenya's school system goes from January to November. Pray for Barako's preparation to take the National Exam which will determine whether he will be able to go onto nursing school. Pray that he will focus and concentrate on the studies and do as well as possible. Pray too that his faith will be increased and strengthened as he finishes at the christian high school. The Lord has already provided for the finances when Barako is ready to start nurses training. The test is set for a month from now, in the middle of November.

112e année en Afrique
Prier
