Dorobo People Responding to Gospel Print E-mail

Kenya - A survey by AIM of 11 different Dorobo villages in 1991 revealed only 4 or 5 Christians among the entire tribe of some 50,000.  Today, with a focused ministry among the Dorobo, there are now at least 2% (or around 1000) believers worshiping in the new Dorobo churches.

Magambua, Tanzania - Cataract surgeries performed recently by a visiting Tanzanian eye doctor and his team gave new sight to 13 patients of a small clinic in rural Tanzania.

Mozambique, Africa - Robert and Karis Koehn, AIM missionaries in Mozambique, use "Storying" as a major technique in presenting God’s Word. While Storytelling has always been a method of presenting the gospel, it seems there is a resurgence in recent years.

Hospital Chaplains and Bible Students Partner For Outreach Print E-mail

Kijabe, Kenya - The Chaplaincy Department at the Kijabe Hospital and the students from Moffat Bible College have a very active outreach program as they partner together in providing spiritual assistance to the sick and hurting. Their regular activities include bedside evangelism, daily devotions for outpatients, and semi-weekly chapel services for the hospital staff. On average well over 200 patients give their lives to Christ each year.

RVA Holds Outreach Day Print E-mail

Kijabe, Kenya Rift Valley Academy (RVA), a missionary boarding school founded and operated by Africa Inland Mission (AIM) held an Outreach Day recently to provide students with an opportunity to impact lives in nearby communities. The day included over 15 different outreach trips for students and staff to participate in.
