Kenya - A survey by AIM of 11 different Dorobo villages in 1991 revealed only 4 or 5 Christians among the entire tribe of some 50,000.  Today, with a focused ministry among the Dorobo, there are now at least 2% (or around 1000) believers worshiping in the new Dorobo churches.

The Dorobo Christians are actively involved in reaching their own people.

While more and more Dorobo are intermarrying with local tribes such as Maasai, Kikuyu, and Samburu, they still are distinctive in that (1) they do not keep cattle, (2) they hunt for meat, and  (3) they keep honey.
