Kijabe, Kenya - The Chaplaincy Department at the Kijabe Hospital and the students from Moffat Bible College have a very active outreach program as they partner together in providing spiritual assistance to the sick and hurting. Their regular activities include bedside evangelism, daily devotions for outpatients, and semi-weekly chapel services for the hospital staff. On average well over 200 patients give their lives to Christ each year.

In addition, two to three times each year the Chaplaincy Department organizes medical ministry trips to spiritually needy areas of Kenya. The most recent was to the Luo people on the shores of Lake Victoria. For over 36 hours, medical providers cared for the health needs of approximately 2000 people concluding with evening programs involving music, a movie, and a challenging message from God’s Word. Upon conclusion 281 adults and over 100 children gave their lives to Christ.
