Development of a theological college campus to impact Rwanda
AIM recently surveyed churches belonging to the Evangelical Alliance of Rwanda, asking church leaders what they perceived to be the greatest need in the church today. The consistent response was of the need for a facility to train future pastors.
Over 6 years ago, on its own initiative, the Alliance began a small theological college. Through the years, AIM has been involved by providing several teachers, as well as the director, for the Rwandan Institute of Evangelical Theology. AIM’s presence and support has been an affirmation and a strengthening of the church’s own initiative. The school currently has 62 students in a rented facility which is inadequate for holding classes. But there is a vision to triple this student body. Today, AIM is moving forward to assist the Evangelical Alliance in expanding the college.
The size of the building project is daunting: 12 classrooms, a library, computer room, 12-plus offices, a 300 seat auditorium, 38 houses and apartments of varing sizes, 2 dormitories with dining facilities, and a guest house. Five acres of land have been purchased and there are enough funds to start construction, but not enough for completion. Bringing the project through all its phases will require a significant effort of coordination, and be a matter of frequent prayer.
We invite you to consider a contribution toward the construction of the campus. You may donate online by selecting the project: "Rwanda Institute of Evang Theology - 000447"

To contribute by mail, make checks payable to Africa Inland Mission with a separate note indicating “Rwanda Institute of Evangelical Theology - 000447” and mail to:
