Steve and Pam Hill joined AIM in 1994 and served for 9 years in Lesotho in Southern Africa including a two year term as members of a TIMO (Training in Ministry Outreach) team.  As community developers, they started a program called Herdboy Evangelism and Literacy Project (HELP) to reach the shepherd boys in the mountains.  He also was involved in church planting, a vocational skills training center, Bible studies, discipleship, and evangelism.  God protected him through many interesting experiences during these years including being bitten by a Rinkhals cobra and being hijacked by rebel soldiers.  After three productive terms in Lesotho, Steve became part of AIM’s mobilizing team in the US as a Regional Administrator.  He currently lives in Lancaster County, PA with his wife, Pam, and their two sons.  They are expecting their third child in December.
